Outreach embraces the prospect to create long term O&P opportunities in developing nations in the forms of clinics, schools, and educational exchanges. While Service Learning capitalizes on the reciprocity aspect where students serve alongside partner organizations through clinical care and educational exchanges; both partners learn from one another and cooperate to meet the others respective needs. Students are required to complete a minimum of 80 hours outreach and service learning over the course of the program and are encouraged to engage in a diverse array of activities.
