Pauline Calla Cabanada, MBA, RHIA

Pauline Calla Cabanada has been a full-time faculty at Loma Linda University for over a decade. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration from LLU-School of Allied Health Professions in 2005 and her Master in Business Administration from LLU School of Public Health in 2009. Pauline is an Assistant Professor and the Program Director for the Bachelor of Science program in the Department of Health Informatics and Information Management. Additionally, Additionally, Pauline teaches various courses for the Health Information Management program at LLU. Pauline is an active faculty member at the School of Allied Health Professions, sitting on many committees and engaging in various school activities. She served as Chair of the Faculty Council Executive Committee (FCEC) for SAHP during the 2014-15 school year, University Faculty Council member from 2013-16, and SAHP Homecoming Committee from 2005-2016, to name a few. Pauline considers being a part of the LLU family a continual blessing.
In addition, Pauline has volunteered for both California Health Information Association (CHIA) and CHIA’s Component Local Association, the Inland Area Health Information Association (IAHIA) in various capacities such as; co-presenting educational presentations at CHIA’s annual conventions, being a member of CHIA’s Academics Committee, serving as co-chair of IAHIA’s Program Committee from 2007-2009 and being on IAHIA Board Member for three separate terms.
