Kathy Franck
Administrative Assistant
Kathy Franck is the Administrative Assistant to the Health Informatics and Information Management Department. She received her Associates of Science Degree Administrative Secretary at Metropolitan Community College, Omaha, NE and her Bachelors of Science Degree Business at Bellevue University, Bellevue, NE. She started her professional career working for lawyers then went onto working for public schools in 2005. During Kathy’s employment at the public schools, she offered herself as a volunteer in OEOPA, a professional association for Administrative Assistants. She served as Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President and President in this organization.
A strong desire to help older students in the medical field guided Kathy to further her career. In 2011, she started working at the University of NE Medical Center in the Pathology Department. Some years later, she moved to California and has found herself again thriving, serving students as they achieve their educational goals at Loma Linda University. Kathy reports of many blessings filled with thankfulness and enjoys her role within the department. She has stated that her position helps her to achieve her main mission in life, to serve other people along the way.
