Melanie Hanson, MBA, PMP

Assistant Clinical Professor

Melanie Hanson is an assistant clinical professor for Loma Linda University, teaching Project Management courses in the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration, the Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration and Master of Science in Health Informatics programs. She also serves full time as an Executive Director, Strategic Services in the Information Systems department for Loma Linda University Health, Shared Services.

Melanie has worked for Loma Linda University Health since 2011 and became a part-time faculty member as of 2015. She holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Melanie values both her teaching and information technology roles at LLUH, using them to promote her core values of giving and service in the healthcare field.
