About Nutrition and Dietetics

The world of nutrition and dietetics provides a rewarding career in applying expert knowledge of food and the physical and social sciences to help solve problems of food excesses, inadequate intake, or food insecurity. Nutrition is the science of how the body uses food that contains nutrients, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals to its full advantage; dietetics is the art of using food to make eating a pleasurable experience and provide abundant health.
