Wholeness Portfolio

The Wholeness Portfolio Experience

The Wholeness Portfolio program aims to develop the student – mind, body, and spirit – following Loma Linda University’s mission-focused learning outcomes that reinforce wholeness, wellness, and values to achieve balance in one’s life.

Allied Health students complete assignments documenting growth in the following areas:

  • Professional – Professional Development & Interprofessional Collaboration
  • Personal – Wholeness, Wellness & Values
  • Public – Diversity, Service & Care of Creation

By the end of this course, students should be able to:

  • Understand and apply the University’s philosophy of wholeness in one’s life.
  • Understand the importance and value of integrating Loma Linda University’s Christ-centered values in one’s life.
  • Develop a commitment to discovery and life-long learning.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills in English.
  • Discover the importance of collaborating with others within and across disciplines.
  • Understand the importance of embracing and serving a diverse world.

The Wil Alexander Wholeness Series is coordinated by School of Allied Health Professions Wholeness Portfolio program and is sponsored by all Loma Linda University schools. This free series offers workshops on subjects related to professional development, personal enrichment, spiritual values, and public awareness. Students, faculty, staff, family, and friends are welcome to attend!
