Welcome!
Life Support Education is part of the School of Allied Health Professionals at Loma Linda University, and has been teaching classes in accordance to American Heart Association's guidelines and Loma Linda University's principles of service for the past 30 years. We offer a variety of classes for healthcare and non-healthcare professionals. Our classes are approved by California Board of Nursing and California Medical Board for continuing education/medical units, and our staff and instructors are highly skilled and experienced professionals in their field of practice.

Online Packages and Skills Testing:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
- The Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) course is designed for persons who need information about basic airway management and first responder basic management of cardiac arrest in adults, children and infants.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is designed to reevaluate medical professionals as ACLS provider and to increase their skills in the management of cardiac arrest, airway management, arrhythmia recognition, and team dynamics.
- ACLS Experienced Provider (EP)
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is designed to reevaluate medical professionals as NRP providers and to renew/update their skills in the management of neonatal resuscitation. The lectures, workshops and tests adhere to the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is designed for medical professionals who need information about the recognition and management of cardiac arrest, shock, and airway management in infants and children.
Heartsaver First Aid and CPR/AED
- This class is for Non-health care and Health Care providers to renew or update their skills in First Aid management.

You are able to park in Lot X or Shepardson Lot. If you are a medical center employee you can park in the parking structure. Non employees/students can park in lot X or the Loma Linda Market lot across the street.
